JESSIE HARDY M.s. ccc-slp

Welcome, I'm Jessie, and I bring expertise and empathy to the world of neurodiversity. With a Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from New York University and a Bachelor's in Psychology/Neuroscience from the University of Colorado at Boulder, my journey in supporting neurodiverse individuals spans over a decade.

My experience covers a broad spectrum, from working with neurodiverse children and adolescents to adults, encompassing diverse backgrounds such as Autism, ADHD, Learning Disorders, Developmental and Genetic Disorders, Aphasia, and Dysphagia. Throughout my career, I've operated in various settings, including medical, public school, community-based, and private clinical environments.

My commitment to this field was fortified by a profound observation: Many neurodiverse adults were not receiving the support and skill development they required, particularly during pivotal life transitions like graduation, task management, or the challenges posed by changes in relationships or employment. This realization compelled me to establish my practice in 2021, focusing exclusively on empowering adults as they navigate life's multifaceted spaces.

What sets me apart is not only my professional background but my personal journey as well. I, too, am neurodivergent, having grappled with an ADHD diagnosis during high school. The initial struggle to manage and comprehend it left me feeling distinct and often isolated. I yearned to fit into what society deemed 'normal.' However, I discovered the extraordinary power of embracing my uniqueness over time. This transformation allowed me to harness my distinctive learning style and my capacity to interpret the world in my own way, ultimately turning them into strengths.

My neurodivergent perspective grants me a distinctive ability to connect on a foundational level with many clients. Together, we can explore your unique strengths, challenges, and aspirations, working collaboratively to foster growth, self-acceptance, and a path toward fulfillment.
